Extraordinary
However luscious and extremely well made the furniture and however much the overall design fits you, it's the basics which really matter:
- Accurate and intelligent design and planning
- Detailed specification, all to be agreed, and at an agreed cost
- Detail to include the fittings and the electronics, down to the proper spec for each item and why
- Correct choice of fittings – for example, properly aged, brass hinges when brass is right
- Correct choice of equipment – for example, the electronics are chosen for their functionality, intelligent design [made to be used], and longevity
- Designs are practical not simply phenomenal to look at – high functionality and much thought given to how rooms are to be used, and the problems dealt with daily
- A clear statement of liability and where extra charges will be incurred and where not .. and help with these decisions rather than pressure to change more and so spend more
- Process management – someone in charge so that the whole process is smooth and as painless as possible
- AND makes sure that he who pays the piper gets treated with consideration
- A full service – and that means doing everything required – tiling, floors, plastering, decorating, electrics, installations, everything – and most importantly, cleaning up thoroughly at the end
- And everything produced on time and on budget
